Of the little things

Bismillah

Another day passes by,
Another week I wonder why,
The days have gone and the months goodbyes,
But I have not and why not I?
(The amount of grammar errors in the above poem is astounding.)

Today my youngest sibling has left the nest. Mixed emotions everywhere. My 'kakak' has been crying, my mum busying herself with her work, dad has been silent and I... I am missing my little sister. To say I have a sibling complex would be too extreme but there is something I cherish in my relationship with my siblings that I can never EVER have with my friends. It is that assurance that no matter what crazy stunt I pull, or how annoying I get, they will still call me sister. (Also she was the only person in KK who would follow me on random mall adventures and watch anime with me on hours end)

So today I'm alone in the room. More space, more silence and perhaps a little bit more time to be alone.
I'm glad she finally have her chance to experience life away from home and I pray she is safe there. Have fun lil sis. (May the odds be ever in your favour)

I'm at that age where people wonder when you'd get married.... I'm wondering but it doesn't help. So I'm just gonna wing it and enjoy life. (Such things like sleeping in, watching anime non stop and playing RO for 3 hours seems highly unlikely once you're married.... Unless your spouse acts the same. hahaa)

I'm not sure what else to write. Well, for one thing I'm still working for ABX Express as a financial exec. My work mostly consists of recons, evaluations, preparing the financial statements. Quite alright once you get a hang of it. I'll consider other options once I'm done with my ACCA though. Currently not much learning experience in my company since the job rotation in my department is pretty rare...

I'm learning mandarin, but not much improvement in that department. I'd say I understand Japanese more than mandarin. (It's just that my Japanese vocab is wider thanks to anime)
Going korea next month for a 'well-deserved' break. Been through a lot of changes this year. Some directly involving me and some involving the people around me.
