My graduation and the memories of running

Bismillah

I don't want to think of unpleasant things. Those are reserved for bad days. For now I'll think 'I'm thankful I met you' and 'I wish you the best in life'. To you who hated me, to you who were just friends for benefits and to my dear dear good friends. I'm blessed to meet the people I met and I'm sure there are many friends in the future as well.

On days like these I feel like running with my hair flowing at my back (but I wear tudung so maybe not. hahaha). I miss those days when running under the rain was a must or when running in the fields seemed as if I could fly... or faint. I miss playing basketball. I miss night walks and moon bathing. I miss mango juice sessions. I miss midnight meetings. I miss waking up in the morning watching my friends fast asleep. I miss so many things and in those moments I always thought 'Ah. Won't it be nice if this could go on forever'. Its a different feeling from when you wake up early in the morning and say 'I wish I don't have to get up'. There is a feeling of contentment and I feel 'Ah. I love so much'. Like in that moment I love everything and everyone. I seriously don't understand what the heck I'm trying to convey right now. haha.

I know it sounds a little weird but the image I get when moving forward in life is that beautiful image of sunlight and your back. How sweet youth is. I'll miss my friends dearly and maybe we'd one day lose contact of one another but I'll still have my memories of you all. I remember the times we climb steps together, random outings, picnics, laughs, birthdays, exams... all these things we went through together as if there was no tomorrow. But it all will end wouldn't it?

Convocation was.... HECTIC. I had to find time to spend some time with my parents, friends and relatives. All in one day where it was HOT, CROWDED and we had to wear ROBES. Technically it was a very hot day and everyone wanted to leave as soon as possible and take pictures with everyone else. I recommend future graduates to use the first day to spend time with your family. Schedule a second day with your friends and the third day to stalk around the university to take pictures with your lecturers (something I regret to say I have not had time to do.)

Congratulations to me for graduating university. Now let's see what life has in store...

Alhamdulillah I've made it this far.
