Kampung Boys and Girls

Bismillah

So I stayed at kampung for 4 days taking care of my grandma. Lots of things went through my mind as I took care of her. Thought of the things I want to do before I reach her age, thought of my mother and also had chats with my aunt regarding the future.
Taking care of my grandma is tiring of course but very satisfying. She praised me a lot but I shouldn't let those praises get to my head. I don't want to care of her just because I want praises. I helped massage her, change her cloths, adjust her position on the bed, scratch her back, cook for her and also help her keep cool. The days at kampung have been very HOT! It's like walking around in a sauna.
My auntie kept encouraging me to get a land in kundasang or ranau to start a small homestay and some plantation. I do want it but money is a big issue.
My aunt is doing translation job and I'm planning to do the same while working. Then money from my translation job will be kept for the land that I want to buy. At least 3 acre is necessary. Will have to come up with proper planning for this.
Dreams cannot be achieved without effort and you get no where if you don't start. Start small and it'll amount to something in the end. Probably I'm a gardener at heart cause I just love the feel of digging my hands in dirt and the most happiest part is when you get to harvest and enjoy the things you've grown.

Alhamdulillah
