Khutbah Hajjatul Wada'

Bismillah

Khutbah Hajjatul Wada' - Rasulullah s.a.w. last surmon. Salam Maulidur Rasul sallahualaihi wassalam

1. Regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust.
2. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners.
3. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you.
4. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord and that He will indeed reckon your deeds.
5. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba).
6. Beware of Satan for the safety of your religion. He has lost hope to lead you astry in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
7. It is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. You have taken them as your wives as a trust from God and with His permission.
8. If your wives abide by your rights, then to them belongs the right to be clothed and fed in kindness.
9. Treat your women well for they are your partners and committed helpers.
10. And it is your right that your women do not make friends with whom you disapprove.
11. Worship God.
12. Perform the 5 daily prayers.
13. Fast during Ramadhan.
14. Uphold your financial obligations by performing zakat.
15. Perform hajj if you have the means.
16. All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An arab has no superiority over a non-arab, non does a non-arab has superiority over an arab. White has no superiority over black, nor does black have superiority over white. EXCEPT in piety and good actions.
17. Learn that every muslim is a brother to every muslim and that Muslims constitute a brotherhood.
18. Nothing is legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to another Muslim unless it is given freely and willingly. So do not do injustice to yourselves.
19. Beware and do not stray from the path of righteousness once I'm gone.
20. No prophet or apostle will come after me, nor will a new faith be born.
21. I leave behind 2 things, the Quran and my sunnah. Follow these and you'll never go astray.
22. All who listen to me shall PASS ON MY WORDS TO OTHERS and those others again and it may be that the last ones understand my words more than those who listen to me directly.

Be witness, O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

Alhamdulillah
