Temporary Home

Bismillah

Yes. The season to be jolly is here.... then we get back to reality and become not so jolly anymore huh?
During the weekend, (after the mad rush with Adibah to submit our taxation assignment..... our assignment was so horrible i do not wish to ever see it again), I went to class at Universiti Malaya with Adibah with the public transport. However, once we were snug in our seats waiting for Prof. Mustaffa to teach us 'tafsir' we had the big disappointment of having to wait for him for 1 hour before realisation dawned on us that he was not coming.

We were still jolly despite the setback and instead re-routed to AmCorp Mall to go to BookExcess. Adibah found Rumi's book (at an awesome cheap price) and I bought Sir Arthur's 'Tales of Mystery and Terror' (due to the awesome book cover) and Gaarder's 'Sophie's World'.
Once we had our purchases safely within our grasps, we went to eat (At the generosity of Kak Ain) at Secret Recipe. It was unlucky for me that I had a bad sore throat as well as slight fever so I order Vietnamese Soup while they ate Lasagne and Mozarella baked fish. sigh.
I left them and went to my next location which was to Wangsa Maju to go over to Athirah's house. My original purpose was to go over to get out and away from campus, eat free food, have a cooking session with my favourite girl and ultimately to do assignments.
I got bullied by her younger brother Amir and the presence of HBO and StarMovies ensured that I went no where near finishing my assignment (although I did manage to get some planning and work done.... like 3% of work done).
We made pastarina, salad, mushroom soup, bruchette, brownies and sandwich.
Kak Azreena came over as well and I was greatly thankful for her presence as this provided Amir with two targets instead of one.
I won't elaborate so much about the stay but I did enjoy it nonetheless (the less part being my lack of progress for assignments) due to the fact that somehow being at her place gave me a sense of being at home and I sorely miss my home.
We ate lunch at Seoul Garden to celebrate (a very belated) graduation congratulations to Kak Azreena.

And now since the jolly holidays are over.... time to get back to reality.

Oh. On the side note, MErry jolly holiday wishes to Eunice (my dear girl from sabah) and I'm so sorry I would not be able to spend New Year's with you (as I hope you'd understand that I'm way behind schedule for my assignments). Your gift is with me and I'll post it to you ASAP.

Alhamdulillah
