Bismillah... So here I go again...
So while dangling on mere wood, the little boy tried very hard to keep himself hidden behind the tree. It is difficult when one tries to hide behind a tree that has no leaves. Thankfully the area was dark and he was able to mold his body closely to the bark of the tree. He moved his head slightly to the right to catch a glimpse of who entered the area.
"Who were you talking to?" asked a low voice. The boy could see a shadow approaching and he could hear the sound of a cape dragged on the floor. He could also make out the green-eyed ladies back, which was ramrod straight. Considering her earlier composure the boy was sure that the man who arrived must be someone important. "And who do you think would talk to me may I ask? I am alone. As I have always been," replied the lady.
As quick as lightning the boy turned his head around for he just noticed the man whom the lady was talking to. It was Sir Alcave Volstair, the right minister, only second in power to the prince. 'How does she know the man?' the boy wondered. He continued to listen but dare not peek for fear he might be seen.
"I see you still have your wretched temper. You know what will happen if you cross me. I will overlook this impudence as it is a waste of my time. Have you prepared what I have asked for?" the minister asked.
The lady walked a few distance and said softly "It will take longer than a day to complete what you ask, my lord." Her voice was soft but there was no mistaking the coldness in her tone as she spoke to the minister.
"I cannot wait longer! The king is about to coronate the prince as his next heir! If you cannot get this done today I will make sure your daughte..."
Before the minister could continue the branch the boy was hanging from broke apart and he fell right into the pond below. The lady gave a small scream and rushed forward to help the boy out but before she could the minister grabbed her arm and snarled, "If you think this boy could help you, think again. Bring me what I ask for tonight."
She turned around and cried, "This boy and my daughter has nothing to do with this. I have already promised to help you! What more can I do? I simply cannot complete this task within the given hour! Please give me more time! Even after the coronation your plan will still work out I assure you. There would be no difference when you choose to do it!" She pulled herself out of his grasp and ran to the pond.
The boy came sputtering out and thanked the lady for helping him. She responded by hugging him close to her and wept silently. The boy was young and had no idea what to do so he sat still and kept quiet. He looked around the area but the minister was no longer there.
'What exactly happened between the two of them?' the boy wondered as he sat there with the weeping lady.
Alhamdulillah... So how was it? It's quite random and I'm not sure how this would end really. hahaha.
