First batch of poetry

Bismillah

-Emoing plus I miss home badly.

Don't take my hand,
Only to let go once again.
If I'm looking for you,
Don't come for me,
Only to walk by.

Don't tell me we are friends,
but leave when I call.
 
Don't give me hope,
only to leave me once more....
 

Another old poetry to share:

If my heart were a bird,
that it may soar to You.
If it were a branch,
that it would reach out to You.
If it were light,
that it may shine for You.

Autumns leaves like your illness,
taking you to a cold decembers winter.
Snowflakes that fall,
reminds me of the tears.
 
That spring would never come to you,
it breaks my heart.
That summers warmth is leaving you,
makes me drop to my knees and cry.
 
You were like a bird that never stayed too long,
but always came back to where you belonged.
You were like careless flower petals,
that fall everywhere living to their fullest.
 
I'm that lonely nest that the bird calls home,
I am that lonely tree that flowers leave.
My spring will be without your laughter,
and my summers devoid of your smiles.
 
My life was once where you and I were together,
Now that you are on the other side,
is the grass greener there?

Another one. (Regarding the Prophet Rasulullah s.a.w)

I'm moving, but the tears make life a blur.
I'm being strong, but inside me the world is a prison.
I'll work hard to get to your side.
I never got to know you, but you still loved me.
 
Your love was like the vast ocean,
I think it was bigger, like the universe.
Your actions as beautiful as the stars
accompanying the pure white moon.
 
You gave me faith once more.
I want to see you soon.
Before that I'll build my bridge with
everything you taught me.
 
So that I'll be able to meet you,
and that I'll finally see your smile for me.
