Sharing Dreams, Saving lives and Sharpening Mind

Bismillah,

Oh my it was one awesome week. After a few days of feeling like I've not done much in life, this week felt kinda awesome.

Sharing Dreams
During my lunch break I went on FB and noticed a good friend of mine wondering what having 'a dream' feels like. I've had this one dream since my highschool. During primary school my dream changed a lot and a my dream came to be due to this one friend of mine. She shared her passions with me and then her dreams. Despite not being friends with her anymore, this dream I had reminds me a lot of the good times we had. Somehow this dream overwrites that one year of miserable fighting that we had and for this dream I'm very thankful to her.
So here's a little story of how my dream evolved. When I was in primary school I loved performing, playing and just having a good time with my friends. I loved reading to my parents and having them praise me. I loved my primary school and I wished I never had to leave it. That time my dream was to be a teacher at my beloved primary school.
When I was in highschool I loved art and comic. I loved watching my friend draw. I loved that she took time to teach me how to draw. I hated it when she got impatient with me but I loved the quiet moments we spent at her house reading comics. That's when I wanted to open a bookstore.
In form 1 I went through books regarding university. I even made a promise to go to the same university as my bestfriend. She happen to go to another university and so did I. That was when we began focusing on different paths to achieve our dream. She was to go to art university and I was to go into the business field.
We had hoped to open a bookstore and that dream evolved to a comic publishing company.
We even had this book where we drafted how our shop would look like and even planned to stay with each other. Funny how friendships that strong broke with a misunderstanding.
So now, left behind by my friend, I'm still struggling to achieve my dream. I've shared this dream with a few others and last week I added a new friend to my dream and her name is Nor Liana Kamaruzzaman.
Out of all the people I've shared with, she is the most active one. She's even agreed to research some material for me which I'm VERY grateful for. I just wanted her to know that having her to share my dream has brought me one step closer to achieving it and her involvement means SO MUCH to me.
Take your time shaping your dreams. It doesn't come in one great inspiration but is built on passion and people around you.

Saving Lives
I love charity events. I know it might sound like hypocrisy since I don't do much but I do love participating in them. So yesterday I participated in my company's blood drive and donated some blood. It feels awesome to share something you have to those who need it even at the expense of having to sleep 14 hours to recover your strength. Blood donation does that to me.

Sharpening Mind
I finally started my ACCA classes and I have such an awesome lecturer. It's a small class of 3 students but my lecturer gives of an aura of a senior Jedi; very knowledgeable and with lots of advice. I feel bad that despite my degree I'm still lacking but I'm glad that my lecturer points out my faults and gives me advice on how to improve myself. I'm glad I took these classes and I hope I can study well for my December paper.

That's all for updates.
