Rain.... And then some rainbow and sunshine

Bismillah

As Malaysians we face rain almost half the year. As Muslims we see rain as a blessing. My house was flooded again and this time the rain actually made it over my house barricade and made it into the house. That is why when i came back from work, instead of lounging on the couch as usual (while eating rambutans), I had to mop the house and help clean up whatever mess the flood brought in. The next morning I had to remove some mud from the front porch. All in all, it was a typical day after a flood.
Despite my complaining, I didn't mind the extra work that much. Other than the fact that I was sweating before I even got to my office and I had some dirt on my office clothes. Not a really good way to start the day but I didn't really mind it all that much. I kind of have this weird enjoyment of cleaning the house with my entire family after a flood.
It's been a few days after the flood and my mum has already approached the authorities (once again) regarding our horribly congested sewers.

Actually, everyday after the flood seems like a beautiful day. The beautiful sky right after a rainy week is so clear and the clouds are beautiful. I could actually see Mt.K's head all the way from KK. Plus the sunsets are to die for at this time since the clouds are thinner after a rainy week.

The highlight of the week would be the double rainbow and contrasting sky I managed to catch a glimpse of yesterday.

There are more than just rainbows after the rain. So much more.

A collection of random photos from my phone.

Alhamdulillah
