Birds Fly Away

Bismillah

I tried to make up a song from a poem I wrote this morning. It has more of a lullaby tune (though I probably won't remember the melody after sleeping....).

Here it is: Birds Fly Away written by me.

In the night I whisper your name,
In the morning I'd cry again.
Do rocks move when the train roars?
Do my feet run when I see birds soar?
And I sit down laughing silently,
cause the rocks remain where they are,
and the birds have gone so far.
But I tell myself again,
That one day I'd be the bird that flew away.

Here's the original poem: Indecision and Stillness by me

Do rocks rumble at the roar of an oncoming train?
Do feet run as I watch birds take flight?
As my mind wonders, sitting here all alone
I chuckle because the rocks remain still,
and the birds have left my sight.

Typically the poem doesn't even rhyme. Oh well... It was a spur of the moment thing. I just wrote whatever came to mind. I like the meaning behind the poem though. Can you guess? (the title should be obvious enough.)

Alhamdulillah
